All prices shown on the website are in New Zealand Dollars. All prices include the New Zealand Goods and Services Tax. NOTE: Our prices exclude the cost of DOC Camping and/or Hut fees and kōhā to Marae.
The only details required from you to make a booking are your first and last names, your email address and the details of the booking itself (i.e. the number of bookings made by you and the number of adults, number of children etc included in the booking). Any other information that is collected through our website is information which you “voluntarily” provide for us.
It is recommmended that all customers purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking
A 20% deposit is required to reserve your booking dates. This can be made in to the account given to you once you receive a confirmation of your booking from us at Ki Tai – Whanganui River Tours. Your booking will not be reserved until the 20% deposit has been made in full. 100% of the booking cost must be made at least 48 hours prior to your booking departure.
Cancellations within 48 hours of the trip departure date will be refunded less the 20% deposit required to reserve your booking. Cancellations within 24 hours of the trip departure will be refunded less 50% of the total booking fee. Should you change your mind on the trip duration or experience once the trip has already departed their will be no refund.
Our team will offer our best recommendations regarding the weather as we operate ‘rain, hail or shine.’ If the trip has to be cancelled due to severe circumstances in the weather, your trip will be refunded in full. In some cases we may organise a contingency plan upon client request.
We may modify these terms and conditions at any time by publishing the modified terms and conditions on this website. Any modifications shall take effect immediately once posted on the website.
